of lords, nor that he is the Creator of the angels. Rather, the Lord of the angels charged the angels to protect the Messiah, as confirmed by the prophet’s statement: “Indeed, Allah commands His angels concerning you so that they may guard you.” Luke likewise testifies that Allah sent an angel from heaven to strengthen him, and he said:
“When the Gospel, in agreement with the prophets and the messengers, declares that Allah instructs His angels regarding the Messiah so that they safeguard him, it follows that the angels obey the Messiah by Allah’s command, and that both he and they stand in service to the Lord of all worlds.”
The Messiah also said to his disciples, “Whoever receives you has received me, and whoever receives me has received the One who sent me.”
And he said, “Whoever denies me before the people, I will deny him before the angels of Allah.”
