Section: Isaiah’s words—“The Spirit of holiness shall rest upon him, the Spirit of God, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and strength, the Spirit of knowledge and fear of God.”
They say:
Isaiah also declared, “A rod shall spring from the house of Jesse, a shoot will blossom from it, and upon him shall settle the Spirit of holiness, the Spirit of God, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of God. In those days the root of Jesse shall be a sign for the nations; in him they will believe and upon him they will rely, and they shall have the crown and honor for ever and ever.”
[فَصْلٌ: قَوْلُ أَشْعِيَا وَيَحُلُّ فِيهِ رُوحُ الْقُدُسِ رُوحُ اللَّهِ رُوحُ الْحِكْمَةِ وَالْفَهْمِ رُوحُ الْحِيَلِ وَالْقُوَّةِ رَوْحُ الْعِلْمِ وَخَوْفِ اللَّهِ]
قَالُوا:
وَقَالَ أَشْعِيَا أَيْضًا: يَخْرُجُ عَصَاهُ مِنْ بَيْتِ يَسِّي يَنْبُتُ نُورٌ مِنْهَا، وَيَحُلُّ فِيهِ رُوحُ الْقُدُسِ رُوحُ اللَّهِ، رُوحُ الْحِكْمَةِ وَالْفَهْمِ، رُوحُ الْحِيَلِ وَالْقُوَّةِ، رَوْحُ الْعِلْمِ وَخَوْفِ اللَّهِ.
وَفِي تِلْكَ الْأَيَّامِ يَكُونُ أَصْلُ يَسِّي آيَةً لِلْأُمَمِ، وَبِهِ يُؤْمِنُونَ وَعَلَيْهِ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ، وَيَكُونُ لَهُمُ التَّاجُ وَالْكَرَامَةُ إِلَى دَهْرِ الدَّاهِرِينَ) .
