Section: The words of the prophet Isaiah – “For God will come and deliver the nations”

They say:
“The prophet Isaiah declared: ‘Say to Zion, “Now rejoice and be glad, for God is coming and He will save the nations. He will deliver those who believe in Him and in His people, He will deliver the city of Jerusalem, and God will lay bare His holy arm there to all the scattered nations and make them a single nation. They will show all the inhabitants of the earth the salvation of God, for He walks with them and goes before them, and the God of Israel will gather them.”’

It is said in reply:
First of all, it must be determined, with respect to this prophecy, that these words have been transmitted without any tampering of the text and without any mistranslation—and that has not been proven.

[فَصْلٌ: قَوْلُ أَشْعِيَا النَّبِيِّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْتِي وَيُخَلِّصُ الشُّعُوبَ] قَالُوا: وَقَالَ أَشْعِيَا النَّبِيُّ: قُلْ لِصِهْيُونَ هُنَا تَفْرَحُ وَتَتَهَلَّلُ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْتِي وَيُخَلِّصُ الشُّعُوبَ، وَيُخَلِّصُ مَنْ آمَنَ بِهِ وَبِشَعْبِهِ وَيُخَلِّصُ مَدِينَةَ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ، وَيُظْهِرُ اللَّهُ ذِرَاعَهُ الطَّاهِرَ فِيهَا لِجَمِيعِ الْأُمَمِ الْمُبَدَّدِينَ وَيَجْعَلُهُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً، وَيُبَصِّرُونَ جَمِيعَ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ مِنْ خَلَاصِ اللَّهِ، لِأَنَّهُ يَمْشِي مَعَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ يَدَيْهِم، وَيَجْمَعُهُمْ إِلَهُ إِسْرَائِيلَ. فَيُقَالُ: هَذَا مُحْتَاجٌ أَوَّلًا أَنْ يُعْلَمَ مِنْ هَذِهِ النُّبُوَّةِ أَنَّ هَذَا الْكَلَامَ نُقِلَ بِلَا تَحْرِيفٍ لِلَفْظِهِ، وَلَا غَلَطٍ فِي التَّرْجَمَةِ، وَلَمْ يَثْبُتْ ذَلِكَ،
