Al-Jawāb as-Sahīh li-man baddala dīn al-MasīhIbn Taimiya

Second: The expression “the Word of God” is a generic class-noun, for the words of God are without limit. The Exalted One says,
“Say, ‘If the sea were ink for the words of my Lord, the sea would run dry before the words of my Lord were exhausted, even if We were to bring another sea like it to replenish it.’” ⦗al-Kahf 18:109⦘.
The Torah likewise affirms the plurality of divine words; therefore the Messiah is not the sum total of those words—he was merely brought into being by one of them.

Third: According to your creed the Messiah is the Creator. Even while calling him the Son and the Word, you also claim that he is the creating God, that he is “true God from true God,” and that there is but one God—thus you combine two mutually exclusive assertions. If he were truly the Creator, then he would be the One who upholds the heavens and the earth; one would not say, “by him the heavens and the earth were made firm.” Such wording is used only of something that is an attribute of the One described. Thus one may say, “God created things by kun” or “He created things by His power.”

Hence the statement, “by His word the heavens and the earth were made firm,” implies that the word is an operative attribute through which creation takes place, for it is the agent of creation. Yet, in your view, the Messiah is the Creator Himself, not an attribute through which creation is effected.

Fourth: “The Word of God” can also refer to the genus of His words, as the Most High says,
“He made the word of those who disbelieve the lowest, while the word of God is the highest.” ⦗al-Tawbah 9:40⦘.
