Preface to the Book
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
There is no deity worthy of worship but Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
“All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful, Master of the Day of Judgment” (al-Fātiḥah: 2–4).
“All praise belongs to Allah who created the heavens and the earth and made darkness and light; yet those who disbelieve set up equals with their Lord” (al-Anʿām: 1).
“All praise belongs to Allah, who has never taken a son, has no partner in His sovereignty, and needs no protector out of weakness” (al-Isrāʾ: 111).
Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. There is no god but Allah. Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, and all praise belongs to Allah. Allah is supremely Great, and praise belongs to Allah in abundance. Glory be to Allah morning and evening.
“All praise belongs to Allah who has sent down upon His servant the Book and has allowed no crookedness in it—straight, to warn of severe punishment from Him and to give good news to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have an excellent reward, wherein they will remain forever—and to warn those who say, ‘Allah has taken a son.’ They possess no knowledge of this, nor did their forefathers. Dreadful is the word that comes out of their mouths; they say nothing but a lie” (al-Kahf: 1–5).

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ،
{الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ - الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ - مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ}
[الفاتحة: ٢ - ٤]

{الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ الظُّلُمَاتِ وَالنُّورَ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ}
[الأنعام: ١]

{الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَلِيٌّ مِنَ الذُّلِّ}
[الإسراء: ١١١]

وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيرًا، وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا.
{الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ عَلَى عَبْدِهِ الْكِتَابَ وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ عِوَجَا - قَيِّمًا لِيُنْذِرَ بَأْسًا شَدِيدًا مِنْ لَدُنْهُ وَيُبَشِّرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ الصَّالِحَاتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا حَسَنًا - مَاكِثِينَ فِيهِ أَبَدًا - وَيُنْذِرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ وَلَدًا - مَا لَهُمْ بِهِ مِنْ عِلْمٍ وَلَا لِآبَائِهِمْ كَبُرَتْ كَلِمَةً تَخْرُجُ مِنْ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ إِنْ يَقُولُونَ إِلَّا كَذِبًا}
[الكهف: ١ - ٥]
