80 – The Sixth: ʿUmar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, ‘If you were to rely upon Allah with the reliance that is truly His due, He would provide for you as He provides for the birds: they set out in the morning khimāṣan (with empty stomachs) and return in the evening biṭānan (with their stomachs full).’” Reported by al-Tirmidhī, who classified it as ḥasan (sound).
