of Allah’s mercy, His good pleasure, and His Paradise, he yearns to meet Allah, so Allah yearns to meet him. But when the unbeliever is given the tidings of Allah’s punishment and wrath, he loathes to meet Allah, and Allah loathes to meet him.” Reported by Muslim.
1858 – The Mother of the Believers, Ṣafiyyah bint Ḥuyayy (may Allah be pleased with her), said: “The Prophet ﷺ was observing iʿtikāf, and I went to visit him one night. I spoke with him for a while, then rose to return home, (1) and he stood to accompany me.
