Bīr Ḥāʾ, and I have made it a charity for Allah Most High, hoping for its reward and that it be stored up for me with Allah. So, Messenger of Allah, dispose of it wherever Allah shows you.”
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Excellent! That is profitable wealth, that is profitable wealth! I have heard what you said, and I think you should give it to your nearest relatives.” Abū Ṭalḥah replied, “I will do so, Messenger of Allah,” and he distributed it among his relatives and the sons of his paternal uncle. The verb qaṭaʿat is pronounced with fatḥa on the qāf and ṭāʾ (2), and raḥimuhu is nominative.
328 – ʿĀʾishah reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Kinship is suspended from the Throne, saying, ‘Whoever maintains me, Allah will maintain him; and whoever severs me, Allah will sever him.’” Agreed upon.
