a khuff (leather sock). “Yutīfu” means “he circles around,” and a “rakiyyah” is a well.
129 – Eleventh: He narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said, “I saw a man roaming about in Paradise because of a tree he had cut away from the middle of the road; it had been harming the Muslims.” Related by Muslim.
In another wording: “A man passed by a branch that lay across the road and said, ‘By Allah, I will remove this so that it does not harm the Muslims.’ He was therefore admitted to Paradise.”
And in a narration recorded by both of them: “While a man was walking along a road he found a thorny branch lying on the way, so he moved it aside. Allah appreciated his deed and forgave him.”
130 – Twelfth: He reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Whoever performs ablution and perfects it, then comes to Friday prayer, listens attentively and remains silent, will have the sins committed between that Friday and the next forgiven, plus three additional days. Whoever touches the pebbles has engaged in idle talk.” Muslim related it.
131 – Thirteenth: He related that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “When a Muslim—or a believer—performs ablution and washes his face, every sin that his eyes committed by looking is washed away with the water, or with the last drop of water. When he washes his hands, every sin his hands committed is washed away with the water, or with the last drop of water, so that he emerges purified from sin. When he washes his feet, every sin his feet committed is washed away with the water, or with the last drop of water, until he comes out pure from sin.” Related by Muslim.
132 – Fourteenth: From him, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said, “The five prayers, one Friday to the next, and one Ramadan to the next are expiations for whatever occurs between them, provided that the major sins are avoided.” Related by Muslim.
133 – Fifteenth: He said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Shall I not direct you to something by which Allah erases sins and raises ranks?” They replied, “Indeed, O Messenger of Allah.” He said, “Perfecting….”
