Consider also how Moses, peace be upon him, left Egypt fearful for his life and keeping a watchful eye out, just as the Messenger, may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him, left Mecca watchfully. Yet the final outcome favored both the Messenger, may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him, and Moses, peace be upon him. The Messenger’s victory came through what he and his Companions did, as Allah punished their enemies at their hands, whereas Moses’ victory came through the act of Allah, Glorified and Exalted.
