2. The second: a printed copy bound within a composite volume held at the Azhar Library in Cairo. It was issued in 1368 AH / 1949 CE and is catalogued under no. 1450, Majāmiʿ 59614.

Within that volume, the abridged epistle occupies pages 116–146 of the collection that Shaykh Muḥammad Naṣīf published at the Sunnah Muḥammadiyyah Press in Cairo in 1368 AH / 1949 CE.

This printing was collated by Muḥammad ʿAbd al-Rāziq Āl Ḥamzah on 26 Rabīʿ al-Thānī 1364 AH against another manuscript copied by Muṣṭafā al-Fārūqī, and it was subsequently issued with critical notes by Muḥammad Ḥāmid al-Fiqī—may Allah have mercy on him.
