We have likewise taken pains to supply the book with full diacritical marks and proper formatting, arranging its paragraphs so that the author’s intent may be readily understood and so that the text can be read with ease in mosques, homes, schools, and intensive study courses. In the footnotes we have provided concise source citations for the hadiths, explained certain terms that might be difficult for non-specialists, and clarified the intended meaning of passages whose sense might otherwise be obscure.
Because of the book’s great importance and distinctive value, we have placed its printing rights at the disposal of every Muslim. We therefore hope that all of us will help spread this edition and expand the circle of benefit, Allah willing, through the following proposals:
1 That mosque imams draw on it in Friday sermons and in the lessons held after the prayers.
2 That every household acquire a copy and study it in family gatherings.
3 That it be translated into the major world languages.
4 That it be converted into educational visual content and PowerPoint slides for intensive courses.
5 That it be adopted as a university textbook.
6 That it be produced as educational and media audio material.
7 That selected quotations from it be shared through new-media outlets and social-networking platforms.
8 That copies be presented as gifts to mosques and their imams, and to Islamic centres around the world.
Our heartfelt thanks and gracious praise go to everyone who has contributed to, participated in, or supported this work. We ask Allah to make it purely for His noble Countenance.
