• They will rejoice in that grace and eagerly share the good news, saying to their brothers, acquaintances, and loved ones: “Here—read my record! (19) I was certain that I would meet my reckoning. (20) So he will enjoy a pleasant life. (21)” ⦗Al-Ḥāqqah: 19-21⦘.
• Then they will be driven to Paradise in groups, each company gathered with those who most resemble them in virtue, according to their ranks and precedence. Just as they had reached, on the plains of the Resurrection, the Basin of their Prophet and drunk from it a satisfying draught after which they will never thirst, so now they will cross the Bridge in proportion to their deeds: as swift as the blink of an eye, the flash of lightning, the finest horses and camels, the running of men, their walking, and even slower than that.
• Once across the Bridge they will halt at a causeway between Paradise and Hell, where they will settle among themselves the injustices and claims that remained from worldly life. As they arrive and its gates are opened through the intercession of Muhammad—peace and blessings be upon him—the keepers of Paradise will greet them, offering salutations and congratulating them on their escape from punishment and on the everlasting bounty they have attained: “Peace be upon you! You have been pure, so enter it to dwell forever.” ⦗Al-Zumar: 73⦘.
• Upon entering and beholding the eternal bliss prepared for them—“what no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard, and what has never crossed a human heart” (1)—they will praise Allah for the favor of their former deeds, for faith and righteous works, for fulfilling the promises delivered through His messengers, and for making them heirs to Paradise so they may dwell wherever and however they wish, enjoying all that souls desire and eyes find pleasing, the delight of hearts and spirits as well as of bodies and limbs, “upon ornamented couches (15), reclining upon them…”
