• the answering of supplications and the descent of countless kinds of blessing—its categories cannot be numbered, let alone its individual instances;
• all this, quite apart from the testimony borne by the earlier scriptures, the total inability of his opponents in every arena of challenge, and their failure to vindicate their falsehood.
Falsehood, when set before what the Messenger brought, is ever humiliated and vanquished. Those who uphold his message and truly understand his religion challenge all the people of the earth to produce any genuine rectitude, success, real advancement, or authentic happiness in all its dimensions, and they insist that it is impossible to attain any of that except through what the Messenger brought, pointed to, and guided creation toward.
Were it not for ignorance of what the Messenger came with, the fierce partisanship of the enemies, their violent resistance, and the erection of numerous, forceful barriers that prevent the masses and common folk from seeing the plain truth and the sound religion, no creed would remain on the face of the earth save the religion of Muhammad ﷺ—for his call, his guidance, and his exhortation embrace every form of rectitude, reform, goodness, and right guidance. Yet the adversaries’ resistance, the use of brute force to champion falsehood through deception and forgery, together with the withdrawal of the people of religion from standing up for it and supporting it, are what have kept most of humanity from perceiving its reality.
Next, consider the third foundation: affirming the Resurrection and the recompense. Observe how the heavenly scriptures, the mighty messengers, and their followers—despite their differing ranks, lands, eras, and circumstances—all concur in believing in it and acknowledging it fully.
How many revelatory and rational proofs has Allah established for it, along with tangible, observable evidences that attest to it in the clearest manner! How often has He shown His servants in this present realm a sample of reward and punishment, made them witness the onset of exemplary retribution upon those who deny, and various worldly punishments upon the criminals, just as He has shown them the deliverance of—
