Within the information disclosed by Allah and conveyed by His messengers there is such immense clarity and such exhaustive detail on every branch of beneficial knowledge that it surpasses anything the sciences of all creation—first and last—could ever reach.
If you wish to recognize that the sound, authentic truth is exactly what Allah and His Messenger have stated, and that whatever contradicts or opposes it is unquestionably false, resting on ignorance and corrupt premises, then reflect on the following:
• Look at the fundamentals, principles, and foundations of the religion and notice how the transmitted, rational, and sensory proofs are unanimously in agreement about them.
• Consider Allah’s oneness, the necessity of affirming His exclusive divinity, and His uniqueness in the attributes of perfection. See how the heavenly scriptures are filled with this theme—indeed, it is their primary objective—especially the Quran, which from beginning to end establishes this greatest and most important of all principles.
• Observe how every messenger, from the first to the last—and above all their leader and final prophet, Muhammad (1), ﷺ—agreed on affirming Allah’s oneness and His exclusive right to be worshipped, and on the vastness and majesty of His attributes: His all-encompassing knowledge and wisdom, His universal power and will, His comprehensive praise, dominion, glory, majesty, beauty, excellence, and beneficence in His names, attributes, and actions.
• Finally, look at how this mighty principle is lodged in the hearts of the masters of creation—those endowed with complete intellects and sound understanding. You will find it greater, stronger, and clearer to them than anything else; they give it precedence over all realities. They know it with an innate, self-evident certainty that precedes theoretical proofs, and they are sure that whatever conflicts with it is the most futile of falsehoods.
