Moreover, at the end (1) of this surah He informs us that the Messenger and the believers upheld these fundamentals—knowing them, assenting to them, acknowledging them, acting upon them, calling others to them, and guiding and directing by them. Consequently, every scholarly work ever written on creed is no more than a detailed exposition of the meanings contained in this noble verse.
