Ṣuwar min Ḥayāt al-ṢaḥābiyyātAbd al-Rahman Ra'fat al-Basha

Asmāʾ bint Abī Bakr
The Lady of the Two Sashes
“Asmāʾ lived to be one hundred years old—never did a single tooth or molar fall out, and her mind never waned.” [Historians]
This noble Companion gathered every strand of distinction into her own hands…
Her father was a Companion, her grandfather a Companion, her sister a Companion, her husband a Companion, and her son a Companion.
That alone (1) is honor and pride enough for her…
Her father is al-Ṣiddīq, the intimate friend of the Noble Messenger ﷺ during his lifetime and his successor after his passing…
And her grandfather is Abū ʿAtīq, the father of Abū Bakr

(1) According to her, it is sufficient.
