His demise:
After a life rich in authorship and teaching, Shaykh Manṣūr fell ill on Sunday, the fifth of Rabīʿ al-Thānī 1051 AH. The illness lasted until he passed away in the mid-morning of Friday, the tenth of Rabīʿ al-Thānī 1051 AH, in Cairo. He was laid to rest in the Turbah al-Majāwirīn cemetery—may Allah have mercy on him (3).
