It is recommended to visit the grave of the Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—and the graves of his two Companions (1) even for women.

The manner of performing ʿUmrah:
One should enter the state of ihram for it from outside the Sacred Precinct; the best place is at Tanʿim. He then performs tawaf, follows it with saʿy, and finally shaves or shortens his hair. ʿUmrah is valid at any time (2) and counts for the single obligatory ʿUmrah of Islam.
[The Pillars and Obligations of Hajj and ʿUmrah]
The pillars of Hajj are: entering ihram, standing at ʿArafah, the tawaf al-ifadah, and saʿy.
Its obligatory duties are: assuming ihram at the prescribed miqat; for anyone who stood at ʿArafah during the day, remaining there until sunset; spending the night in Muzdalifah until midnight; spending the nights of the days of tashriq in Mina—except for water-carriers (3) and shepherds; stoning the pillars in the proper order; and shaving or shortening the hair.
All other rites are sunnah.
The pillars of ʿUmrah are: ihram, tawaf, and saʿy.
Its obligatory duties are: shaving or shortening the hair, and assuming ihram from outside the sanctuary.
Whoever omits ihram has not even commenced his rite; whoever leaves out another pillar cannot complete his rite until he performs it; whoever neglects an obligatory duty—even intentionally—must offer a compensatory sacrifice, though his rite remains valid; and whoever omits a sunnah is not liable for anything.
