I also added vowel marks to some of its words, paid careful attention to punctuation, and compiled an index of its topics.

I enriched it with selected comments from the author’s commentary on it (1) and from his other works.

I appended three fatwas by the author, which he considered important to include because of their relevance to certain passages.

I then read the book to the Shaykh—may Allah preserve him—and he made revisions and additions in a few places to clarify the meaning further.
