He ﷺ, for his part, did perform it on many occasions. What I affirm before Allah is that the Duha prayer is a tremendous means of drawing near to Him—one that no fair-minded person can deny. The proofs in its favor are so abundant that anyone with insight has no excuse to waver over its being part of the Prophet’s guidance. Shaykh al-Islam judged rightly when he said, “Its evidences have reached the level of tawatur—that is, a cumulative mass-transmission in meaning.” And Allah alone grants success.
