Most High, in His grace and bounty, confers ten blessings on anyone who sends a single blessing upon His Prophet ﷺ.
4 – The immense virtue and lofty honor our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ enjoys with his Lord, and the greatness of his standing before Him.
5 – The merit of invoking blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ and the recommendation to do so abundantly, so that the servant may attain this reward and fulfill part of the right owed to his Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
6 – The prescribed form of sending blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ is the wording established in the sound hadiths and practiced in the time of the Companions and the early generations of Islam. Any invented formulae or gatherings that were unknown and have no basis in the Sharia are not regarded as legitimate prayers upon him, for the Messenger ﷺ said, “Whoever introduces into this affair of ours something that does not belong to it, it is rejected,” and in another wording, “Whoever performs an act that is not in accordance with our affair, it is rejected.”
