to say: “O Allah, You are Peace and from You comes peace; blessed are You, O Possessor of majesty and honor.” [Muslim 592]

8 – Shaykh al-Islām said: Keeping one’s remembrance, supplication, and prayers for blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ inaudible is, in all circumstances, the preferable course—unless there is a weightier reason to do otherwise. As for practicing acts of worship—such as the prayer, fasting, Quran recitation, or dhikr—in order to impress people, this ranks among the gravest sins. The nullification of the deed alone is not sufficient; such a person is in fact liable to punishment.
