Sending blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ is legislated at the beginning, in the middle, and at the end of a supplication.

Some have said that, after completing the supplication, one should wipe his face with his hands.

The Shaykh remarked, ‘The ḥadiths on this matter are not sound enough to constitute proof.’
