for physical impurity; this is the view of the three leading Imams, the choice of Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, and it is the sounder opinion.

The author cited only two of the Prophet’s unique distinctions in the ḥadīth. The remaining three—the lawfulness of war booty, the Greatest Intercession by which people will be relieved from the hardship of the Gathering, and the universal scope of his ﷺ mission to all humanity—were not mentioned, but we have already explained and elucidated them.
