1347 – Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace be upon him) said, “Whenever people sit down together and neither remember Allah nor send blessings upon the Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him), that gathering will become a source of remorse for them on the Day of Resurrection.” Related by al-Tirmidhi, who graded it good (ḥasan).⦗1⦘
Hadith Status
The report is ḥasan. Al-Hakim declared it authentic and al-Dhahabi concurred.
