legitimate litigation, there is no harm in it, and it is not counted among the censured kinds of disputation.

4 – In the same vein is the one who debates in order to manifest Allah’s religion, elevate His Word, and gain the upper hand over the enemies of Islam by demolishing their arguments, rebutting their specious doubts, and invalidating their misguidance. Such a person is praiseworthy and will be rewarded; he is among those who wage jihad with their tongues and defend the faith with their eloquence. Allah the Exalted has said, “They do not bring you any parable but that We bring you the truth and a better exposition” (al-Furqan 25:33), and He has said, “And dispute with them in the manner that is best” (al-Nahl 16:125). The verses and hadiths on this theme are many indeed, and Allah is the One who grants success.
