the intended meaning is the first view, and Allah knows best.
- Al-Bukhari (211) and Muslim (358) relate that the Prophet ﷺ once drank milk, rinsed his mouth, and remarked, “It leaves a fatty coating.”
Al-Ādāb al-Sharʿiyyah comments: For this reason, one ought to rinse his mouth with water after consuming anything that contains fat, in accordance with the Prophet’s ﷺ explanation.
المراد هو الأوَّل، والله أعلم.
٤ - جاء في البخاري (٢١١) ومسلم (٣٥٨) أنَّ النَّبي ﷺ شرب لبنًا، وتمضمض، وقال: "إنَّ له دسمًا".
قال في الآداب الشرعية: لذلك ينبغي أنْ يتمضمض بعده بالماء من كل ما له دسم؛ لتعليله ﷺ.
