- If, however, someone comes forward with the correct description only after the article has already been handed to the first person who described it, the second claimant has no entitlement at all. The first became the rightful owner by providing the description while no one disputed his claim, so the item must remain with him just like any of his other property.
٣ - أمَّا إنْ وصفها إنسانٌ بعد دفعها لمن وصفها أوَّلاً، فلا شيء للواصف الثاني؛ لأنَّ الأوَّل استحقها بوصفه إياها، مع عدم المنازع له، فوجب بقاؤها له؛ كسائر ماله.
