Allah has conferred upon him are a trial and a test: if he employs them for good, he earns reward, whereas if he puts them to evil use, he incurs punishment. Among those blessings is testimony itself—whether it is offered upon certainty or merely upon conjecture and falsehood. And Allah knows best.
