1124 – Ibn ʿUmar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: “On the day of Khaybar, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ allotted two shares to the horse and one share to the foot-soldier.” Agreed upon, with the wording from al-Bukhari. Abu Dawud adds: “He assigned to a man and his horse three shares: two for his horse and one for the man.” (1)
