- Sayyid Qutb said: Islam rules out wars stirred by greed and self-interest—wars of colonialism and exploitation, waged in search of markets and raw materials, or to enslave resources and peoples. It likewise rejects wars kindled by the pursuit of hollow glory and personal gain; there is no place for such conflicts. Rather, Islam commands cooperation in righteousness and piety, not in sin and aggression.
١٦ - قال الأستاذ سيد قطب: إنَّ الإسلام يستبعد الحروب التي تثيرها المطامع والمنافع، وحروب الاستعمار والاستغلال، والبحث عن الأسواق والخامات، واسترقاق المرافق والرجال، كما يستبعد أيضًا الحروب التي تثيرها حب الأمجاد الزائفة، والمغانم الشخصية، فلا مكان لهذه الحروب، وهو يأمر بالتعاون على البر والتقوى، لا على الإثم والعدوان.
