7. A mother’s milk contains every nutrient required for the child’s nourishment—in the precise amounts and proportions needed. Some of these elements are constant, while others vary from day to day according to the infant’s needs.
8. A mother’s milk is naturally kept at a suitable temperature, responds automatically to the baby’s requirements, and is available at any moment.
9. Breast-feeding is a natural factor that delays the mother’s return to fertility and spares her the complications associated with contraceptive pills, intra-uterine devices, or injections.

The doctor mentioned many additional benefits, but this much will suffice. We can only say: “This is Allah’s handiwork, who perfected all things; indeed, He is fully aware of what you do” (Q 27:88).
