Benefit Two:
The scholars differed over whether a woman may look at a man who is not her maḥram. They unanimously agree that it is forbidden if she looks at him with desire, but they differed concerning a gaze that is free of desire. Some maintained it is still prohibited, whereas the majority of scholars hold that it is permissible.
