to its authenticity and to the fact that the Rightly Guided Caliphs put it into practice; this indicates that the report of Ibn ʿAbbās is mistaken. Abū Ḥanīfah did rely on the ḥadīth of Ibn ʿAbbās and therefore allowed marriage while in ihrām, but this is a weak view.
