– “What prompts him to marry her”: It was explained earlier that the usual motives for marriage are wealth, lineage, beauty, or religion. Therefore, if a man’s aim is beauty, he should be scrupulous in confirming what he seeks—either by looking at her himself or by sending someone to describe her to him.

- ما يدعوه إلى نكاحها: تقدم أنَّ الدَّاعي إلى النكاح، هو المال، أو الحسب، أو الجمال، أو الدين، وعليه فمن كان غرضه الجمال، فليتحرَّ في النَّظر إلى ما قصده بأن ينظر إليها بنفسه، أوأن يبعث من ينعتها له.
