from Maghrib until ʿIshaʾ. I have remained devoted to this book until Allah—exalted be He—granted me the success to compose this commentary on it. I therefore implore Allah, by His most beautiful names and His sublime attributes, to make it beneficial to both author and reader, to render it sincere for His noble countenance, and to make it a means of drawing nearer to Him in the gardens of bliss. May blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and all his Companions.
