for embarking upon release from ihram conflicts with continuing to answer the summons of worship and with facing it properly.
Abu Dawud recorded 1551 on the authority of Ibn ʿAbbas who said: “When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ʿumrah he would stop the talbiyah once he had touched the Stone.”
Al-Nawawi said: The correct view is that no talbiyah is uttered during either tawaf or saʿy, for each of them has its own specific remembrances.

19 – Saʿy must come after the tawaf of the rite and may not precede it. The marginal note states: If a person performs saʿy before tawaf, that saʿy is not valid by unanimous agreement.
20 – It is recommended to maintain continuity between tawaf and saʿy.

These remembrances contain affirmation of Allah’s oneness in His divinity and lordship, His names and attributes, and acknowledgment of His favors for fulfilling His promise to the Muslims—manifesting the religion, granting victory to His Messenger, and routing the confederates who were the enemies of the faith. Truly, He is capable of all things.
24 – The prescribed remembrance is repeated on Safa three times, with supplication between each repetition, because this
