Third: The Prophet’s ﷺ failure to remove it promptly, instead allowing it to dry, is further evidence of its purity. It is well established that the Prophet ﷺ would hasten to cleanse any impurity—for instance, he ordered the Companions to wash away the Bedouin’s urine in the mosque, and he immediately washed his garment when a baby boy urinated in his lap, along with many similar incidents.
The weightier opinion, therefore, is that adopted by al-Shāfiʿī and Aḥmad—may Allah have mercy on them both.
