Fifth: Worship performed on this night surpasses in merit the worship of one thousand months at any other time. Allah says: “The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.” [Al-Qadr 97:3]

Sixth: Al-Bukhari 2014 and Muslim 760 report that the Prophet ﷺ said, “Whoever stands in prayer on the Night of Decree, out of faith and seeking reward, will have his past sins forgiven.”

Seventh: Supplication on this night is answered. Al-Tirmidhi 2435 narrates from ʿAʾisha that she said, “I asked, ‘Messenger of Allah, if I realize which night is the Night of Decree, what should I say?’ He replied, ‘Say: O Allah, You are Pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon me.’”
