3 – The narration indicates that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a distinctive ruling not shared by other deceased persons.

4 – Those who washed the Prophet ﷺ were ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib, assisted by his uncle al-ʿAbbās, al-ʿAbbās’s two sons al-Faḍl and Qutham, as well as Usāmah ibn Zayd and Shuqrān, the freedman of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. ʿĀʾishah (may Allah be pleased with her) used to say, “Had I known then what I know now, no one would have washed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ except his wives.” Reported by Aḥmad (25774).
