they embody adherence to the Sunnah and realise it in practice, and on the extent to which the act of worship itself fulfils the aims, secrets, and wisdoms for which Allah ordained it.

6 – The ruling of congregational prayer pertains specifically to men; they are the ones required to gather for the prayer and to perform it in the mosques, as Allah says: “Within them, morning and evening, men glorify Him” (al-Nur 24:36-37).
