322 – Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “The heaviest prayers upon the hypocrites are the ‘Isha prayer and the Fajr prayer. If they only knew what these two contain of reward, they would come to them even if they had to crawl.” Agreed upon (1).
He also narrated: “A blind man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, I have no one to guide me to the mosque.’ The Prophet ﷺ granted him a concession, but when the man turned to leave, he called him back and said, ‘Do you hear the call to prayer?’ He replied, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘Then respond.’ ” Reported by Muslim (2).
