78 — Muhammad ibn Sulaymān al-Asadī narrated to us: Hibbān ibn Alī narrated to us, from Hāritha ibn Muhammad al-Ansārī, from Amra bint Abd al-Rahmān, from Ā'isha, who said: They said, “O Messenger of Allah, modesty has spoiled Hāritha ibn al-Nu'mān.” The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, “Modesty does not spoil anyone. Rather, had you said, ‘Modesty has improved him,’ you would have spoken the truth.”
