8 — Ibrāhīm ibn Saīd narrated to us: Abū Muāwiya narrated to us, from Khālid ibn Ilyās, from Muhājir ibn Mismār, from Āmir ibn Sad ibn Abī Waqqās, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—said, “Allah is Generous and loves generosity; He is Munificent and loves munificence. He loves noble qualities of character and detests base ones.”
