66 — Muhammad ibn al-Husayn narrated to me. He said: Al-'Umarī narrated to me; Hafs ibn Sulaymān al-Muqri' narrated to us. He said: A man asked Hātim of Tayy, “How do you experience miserliness in your heart?” He replied, “I feel it just as a very miserly man does, but I compel myself to follow the ways of the noble.”
