6 — Ibrāhīm ibn Saīd al-Jawharī narrated to me: Ahmad ibn Yūnus narrated to us: Fudayl ibn Iyād narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Thawr, from Mamar, from Abū Hāzim, from Sahl ibn Sad, who said: The Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—said, “Allah is Generous and loves generosity and noble qualities of character, while He detests base qualities of character.”

7 — Khālid ibn Khidāsh narrated to us: Abd al-Azīz ibn Abī Hāzim narrated to us, from his father, who said: Talha ibn Ubayd Allah—meaning Ibn Karīz—narrated to me, from the Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—the same report.
