60 — Abū Kurayb narrated to us: Abd Allāh ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Hajjāj ibn Dīnār, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Amr ibn Abasa, who said: I asked, “O Messenger of Allah, what is faith?” He replied, “Patience and generosity.” I asked, “What is the best form of faith?” He replied, “Good character.”
