439 — Abū Zayd also related to me: Abū Āsim related to us, saying: My father related to me, saying:

“A beggar asked Abd al-Ala ibn Abd Allah ibn Abd Allah ibn Āmir ibn Kurayz for something when he was wearing nothing but a waist-wrapper. He said, ‘Take hold of the edge of the waist-wrapper, then pull it toward you.’ The man did so, and Abd al-Ala concealed himself behind the door of his house and shut it upon himself.”
