387 — Yūsuf ibn Mūsā narrated to us. He said: Asbāt ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Abū Bakr al-Hudhalī, from al-Zuhrī, from Ubayd Allah ibn Abd Allah ibn Utba, from Ibn Abbās, who said: “When the month of Ramadan began, the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—would release every captive and give to everyone who asked. By Allah, the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—was more generous in doing good than the blowing wind.”
